I’ve done all the sleep tests and gotten all the medical tests, and nothing comes back wrong. How can I relieve the hip pressure? Please don’t tell me to put a pillow between my legs, that’s like asking if I’ve tried melatonin for my sleep. I’m at wit’s end, nothing I try works, except heavy pain meds, which stop working within 3-4 days. Similar boat. I’m strictly a side sleeper and toss and turn all night to relieve the hip/back pain. And for what it’s worth I a Funny Everything Hurts Shirt. I’ve tested for that, I’m fine there. I can sleep on my stomach for a bit but I haven’t known a full 8-hour sleep in over ten years. If you find something that helps you please pass the info along to the rest of us who are having similar problems and we can do the same.

Gladly. I forgot about it until now because COVID delayed a lot of amazon products but I just purchased a donut pillow to see if it helps. If the pressure is focused on one spot I’m hoping maybe putting a Funny Everything Hurts Shirt. You’ve probably tried it, but I have a pillow under my waist. I have hip dysplasia and it can be triggered by bad sleep. I ended up having two pillows under my head then one pillow directly below them. My shoulder/arm goes between the pilows and I haven’t had any problems with hip pain from sleeping since.

The pillow under the waist provides a bit of relief, but not enough to get a good sleep. I used a literal foam roller under the waist to prop the hips up, but obviously that was a bit uncomfortable between the floating ribs. I’m sorry to hear this. I have scoliosis and was having a lot of issues with my back. And SI joint and a new mattress was a Funny Everything Hurts Shirt. I hate to hear that hasn’t helped you. It switched to the softest possible (I mean it, ultra-plush) since I am also fairly petite. I will say if I fall asleep or nap on the couch, the hip pain comes right back. Do you do any sort of stretching before bed?
