I just started listening to the Half-Blood Prince Audiobook and its a shame what they did to that movie. The opening chapter “The Other Minister” would have been amazing to see on the big screen. Is WB starting a Funny Owl That’s What I Do I Read Books I Drink Tea And I Know Things Shirt? I think someone in this sub has suggested a Netflix series. I personally don’t trust WB to do the books justice, all their adaptations are just meh to me. Animated would work. That way we would still retain the old cast as the human faces and the voice talent would not have to face the relentless, but their not Radcliffe or Watson or Grint. Love this idea as well. Anything really lol.

Which I understand is a Funny Owl That’s What I Do I Read Books I Drink Tea And I Know Things Shirt. An 8-hour chamber of secrets movie would be very tough to sell to casual fans. Would I love everything to be in them, sure but of course things always get cut out? The movies just went too far in changing things and leaving out crucial parts that make these books so great. The list of stuff is endless and I know you can’t please everyone. I guess I feel as I think most of us feel, that we get that they had to cut some stuff out, but then they added stuff that made zero sense to add.

Of course, some stuff would have to be cut even in a tv series, just don’t cut. Character development for a random car almost crashes into a train scene. TV would give them plenty of room to add cheeky things like that as well as give us the stuff we want/should have got. A tv serious would allow the main stuff but allow them to have some fun beyond the book as well. An animated series would definitely work but the one episode – one chapter thing doesn’t. It’s really a nice shirt for all men and women.
