I loved having supernatural horror protagonists in the Conjuring films, reminded me of the best parts of the 80s horror genre when the victims fight back. Found The Lighthouse (2018) and was like nice! Started off ok, super thick Irish sounding accents, but ok. Started noticing how low the Official 420 Chicken Pig Cow I’d Smoke That Vintage Shirt. Ok ok, I’m fine with that. Started seeing little bits of bad acting here and there. Ok ok, maybe there will be a big twist. Every predictable thing that I thought would happen happens. The movie ends predictably and I was like yeah that was a really shitty movie. I saw someone else comment about stumbling onto that film instead of the new one recently; funny because I didn’t even know about the other film until then. Well, hopefully, you enjoy the 2019 film more!

I won’t say for certain is my Official 420 Chicken Pig Cow I’d Smoke That Vintage Shirt. And it is DEFINITELY my favorite horror movie so far. I did, yeah. And although I enjoyed it greatly, I still like The Witch better. I have a soft spot in my heart for paganism and dark mysticism. But don’t get me wrong, I also loved the Lighthouse and can barely wait for Eggers’ next movie. As I said, I’m very fluid about genre classification; a film can have elements of Horror without that being the main focus. Then it’s really a nice shirt for all men and women.
