Being high at work is no different than drunk at work, so unless you are also not hiring anyone that drinks.. it’s pointless and discriminatory. Not OP, but the risk is too high. I know a guy who runs a 100+ person landscaping company. They were lax with drug use until an employee (on company time) was recorded high on meth crazed in a parking lot. It blew up, so the company instituted a no tolerance drug policy and drug tested everyone. It cut the workforce by 30%, but cut accidents by 70%.  Absolutely agree, they were forced to cast a wide net when firing and for sure.
