My wife was directed to take a test because a coworker of hers may have had it and the results took a week.

My last cold was in February. Then we all made masks fashionable. Then November I somehow caught an Official SpongeBob Hey Girl Hey Shirts. And it was hell. And then I couldn’t tell if this was a particularly bad one or if this is how they all feel but it has been long enough since I’d been sick I forgot how to deal. I got sick about a month ago. I work in healthcare, my spouse works in healthcare, plus we have two young children. The “I just got over one cold, and now I have another cold, and another and another” was getting really old. As a person who rarely gets sick (literally couldn’t tell you the last time I got a cold, at least 5 years), this is the part that sucks about it. When you do get sick, it fucking destroys you.
