Same here!! I have not listened to much Dead and Co and only went to the Dallas show a few weeks ago, but the tempo and the flow here are fantastic. That’s awesome! The jam after the Premium Great Pumpkin Believer Since 1966 Halloween Shirt is also a phenomenal song! Tell you what, I saw the Rolling Stones this past weekend and they were turned up so loud you couldn’t even hear people talking. It was great! I just think they need to be cranked up more to drown it out. Yup, the real issue is that it’s even possible to talk at a D&C show because the PA is so low. I don’t like to be that grumpy old guy, but Grateful Dead shows were usually much louder than the shows today.

I just can’t listen to recent Dead and Co. AUD recordings. So much talking!! I keep trying but get turned off by the Premium Great Pumpkin Believer Since 1966 Halloween Shirt. Listen to music, people! So frustrating. The shows he was playing from the start of the year till DC tour started featured NO GD songs, I kinda thought he would keep that trend up, it’s cool that he’s doing fine, and even cooler than the crowd erupted for the beginning lick…maybe more DHs are going to Mayer shows or he’s converting his core crew…or both…I love the subtle changes in the way he can perform the same song. When he plays with Dead. Love the different vocal melodies and ending solo. Thanks for recording the whole thing OP!
