Same here, I just harvest for seed for next year so I don’t need much, and I love watching birds hang out and feast on sunflowers! I’m amazed the local birdlife haven’t found these yet. We have a few resident king parrots and there’s often cockatoos hanging around, yet they’ve remained largely un-eaten! I would have to say not really having any experience on how to transform soil and not having the patience to do so. I’ve watched a lot of YouTube videos and read a couple of books and I’m about to purchase a Premium Sunflower Proud Childcare Provider Shirt. Before it was a garden it was a gravel pit and then a sandpit. So I composted grass clippings, tilled it twice both in spring and fall the past 2 years, added mulch, and plant food. And lots and lots weeding and getting rid of rocks haha. It’s still pretty clay-like now but a lot better than in past years. I remember last year it had just rained. So I decided it was a good time to weed and I ended up with a new pair of shoes. Then it’s really a nice shirt for all men and women.
