Do you consider the CPS2 driver accurate? I just wanted to know if Shuma Gorath’s Chaos Dimension was considered accurate as I don’t know how it displays on a Top It’s Not A Gun It’s A High Speed Wireless Communication Device Shirt. There is a small tearing at the end and always wondered if it should be there. The timing isn’t completely accurate. MAME slightly underclocks the CPU to compensate for the lack of proper wait state emulation. This causes occasional issues (e.g. pro gear which is CPU-bound has more slowdown than it should). I don’t know if that graphical issue happens on real hardware or it’s another timing thing. Does the caps off project still have any success with rectifying bad dumps? I seem to remember we were getting fairly regular success stories from them but we don’t seem to hear about it so much anymore.

One thing I have noticed of late is that things I would consider to be not significant / not especially important get far more attention and public praise than things that are making a real difference. You essentially turn MAME into a Top It’s Not A Gun It’s A High Speed Wireless Communication Device Shirts. Objectively measuring the worth of any piece of work in the context of a project like MAME is basically impossible and you can’t really go on the quantity of work or time spent either, because sometimes a 5 line change can be more significant than something that changes 30 files. And you have no real way to measure time spent. Further to this, a lot of the value that does get added to MAME.
